We'll miss you...

Yahoo! News - Hall of Famer Warren Spahn Dies at 82
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Warren Spahn, the Hall of Fame pitcher who won more games than any other left-hander in history, died Monday. He was 82.
...
Spahn was the mainstay of the Braves' pitching staff for two decades, first in Boston and then in Milwaukee. He pitched for 21 seasons, winning 363 games and posting 20 or more victories 13 times.
The Braves have a rich pitching history and this guy topped the list. He also earned the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart in World War II. We'll miss you buddy.

It's funny because I don't know him...

Yahoo! News - Bullet Wounds KKK Initiation Participant
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - A bullet fired in the air during a Ku Klux Klan initiation ceremony came down and struck a participant in the head, critically injuring him, authorities said.

Gregory Allen Freeman, 45, was charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in the Saturday night incident that wounded Jeffery S. Murr, 24.

About 10 people, including two children, had gathered for the ceremony. The man who was being initiated was blindfolded, tied with a noose to a tree and shot with paintball guns as Freeman fired a pistol in the air to provide the sound of real gunfire, Sheriff Fred Phillips said.

A bullet struck Murr on the top of the head and exited at the bottom of his skull, authorities said.

Freeman fled the ceremony but was arrested near his home, authorities said. He was released on $7,500 bail.

Natural selection at work. I hope Mr. Freeman has a fun time in jail. I don't know about any of you, but I wouldn't want to be in a group where I was the initiation involved nooses, paint guns and bullets in the skull.

I couldn't agree more...

Anarchy Xero: Winding the Iraq Deathwatch
Iraq = Death
It's becoming more and more clear that America's neo-conservative regime was so blinded by it's dual lust for oil and expanded empire that, not only did they fabricate lies to justify the invasion of Iraq but they also didn't bother to plan for the occupation. Now, just like Afghanistan they have what they want, energy resources and a pliant puppet regime. The rest of the country descending into chaos? That's just fine. Soon enough the war will be "won", that is, when the American people stop paying attention and we've moved on to invade Iran or Syria.
...
Only three hundred and fifty three days until we get our country back. It's not that long really.
Our children will not forgive us for allowing this man to be appointed to office.
