Bush Criticizes Edwards' Political Skills
President Bush on Wednesday curtly dismissed Democratic Sen. John Edwards' political skills and experience as a rival to his vice president, telling reporters "Dick Cheney can be president."
Who's he trying to fool? Dick Cheney is president.

Bush is criticizing Edwards lack of political experience. Edwards began his political career six years ago when he was elected to the Senate. Six years of political experience.

Bush ran for president in 2000 after serving as the governor of Texas. The governor's office was the first elected position Bush ever held. He served one and a half terms before being appointed to the presidency. One and a half terms. Six years of political experience.

We often criticize others for what we most despise about ourselves.
